How to set up Burp Suite on Firefox Browser ?

What is Burp Suite?

                Burp Suite is a Web Application Penetration Testing tool. It is used by penetration testers and bug bounty hunters to find Web Application Vulnerabilities. By using this we can interrupt network packets between client and server and we can modify those packets and then send them to the server.

How to set up Burp Suite on firefox Browser..?

Step 1 - Open the firefox browser then we need to set up a proxy setting for that go-to preference.

Step 2 - Search for the proxy setting in the search box.

Step 3 - Select Manual Proxy Configuration and HTTP Proxy tab put IP address 127.0.0.1 then port number is 8080 and Click ok.

    

Step 4 - In Burp Suite have different tabs like proxy. Inside proxy, we have a tab called options. In that, we can see the proxy IP address and port number. This option will help us to interrupt network traffic.

Step 5 - Now we can search any website that traffic will be interrupted by Burp Suite.

Step 6 - Below the screenshot could see traffic is captured by the burp suite. When you click forward then only packets are sent to the server.
